Thermal Vibration Testing
Thermal Vibration incorporates temperature cycling combined with vibration. The combined environment of temperature cycling and vibration subject the unit under test to a series of overstresses. This type of testing will reveal any weak links by accelerating fatigue in a matter of hours instead of days or weeks. Stresses are applied in a controlled, incremental fashion while monitoring the unit under test for operation status.
